Sonex 1462 - Panel

I painted my panel a smoke gray.

I put the switches, CBs, Fuse Blocks, EFISs and Radio Etc in place to see how it looks.

The fuses are not the correct amps. They are in there just for looks. Some of the fuse spaces will be for spares.

Any one have any suggestions on how I should do the labels?? Printer, Label-er, or ?
I plan on putting on a clear coat after I do the labels.

I have not yet done any of the wiring.

John,
It seems like part of your schematic is missing on the right of the drawing. I like the clean simplicity of your physical layout.

I like the fuses in the panel. Better than circuit breakers, IMHO. I think I'll do the same thing on my next build.

BWT, you will love your dual xTremes. You basically have the same setup as I do. I'll try to snap a picture today and post it.

I like your fuse installation. I also put mine on the panel.

Why did you go with some circuit breakers instead of all fuses?

Thanks for the comments.

Bryan - Yes part of schematic is missing. The program I used only exports to png or bit map formats. So I used png. I linked the png photo in my post. I am not sure why it cut part of it off. The schematic wasn't complete any way. I still need to draw the lights and avionics part. I will see if I can post the whole thing.

Bob - the circuit breakers are for the Battery main line and the Alternator disconnect circuit (0ver Voltage). I was told that I would happier with those being CBs that I could easily reset. I am not an expert when it comes to the electrical. So I have tried to rely on advice from others. Do you have an opinion on this advice?

Mike - I just bought a Brothers label maker. I like the idea of using clear tape with black text. I will post a pic when I get there.

Thanks again

Very nice looking panel. Just wondering what kind of paint you used on the panel.
Thanks...Vern

Vern, I used Rustoleum Spray. I used their automotive self etching primer and their gloss enamel color of smoke gray. I did one coat of the primer and two coats of the color. After I put on the labels I plan to cover it with a clear coat.
