Hi Keith,

Congrats on finally reaching the end of one goal and the beginning of another.

As for the transition training I will say that everyone that I've talked to, both publicly and privately, have held Joe Norris in very high regards as to his method of teaching. I've actually learned quite a bit from him by talking to a few that have trained with him.

Enjoy the phase one and be careful up there!

Big congrats to you Keith! Great write up on it as well! I am looking forward to the day when I can experience the same, but until then, I love to hear the stories, excitement, nervousness, and pride in all of those that finish before me! :)
That is what keeps me going!

Congratulations, thanks for the nice write up. It brought back all my great first flight memories, including my first sub optimal landing.

You will always remember it and the sense of accomplishment will not diminish much over time. 300 hours later, I still walk up to my airplane with a silly grin and a thought that I built this.

Look forward to the many firsts yet to come - phase 2 flight - passengers - Crossvile, Oshkosh or some other local Sonex gathering.

Hi Keith,

Congratulations on your first flight.
Just saw the pictures of your airplane on the Sonex website.
What a magnificent paint scheme! Really beautiful.

Would you mind sharing a bit more details on this?
Did you do this yourself or had it done professionally?
What paint system was used? etc.

Thanks,
Michael
