If the weather is good I plan to fly my Onex from Birmimgham, AL. I will fly over on Friday, spend Friday and SAturdnay night and fly home on Sunday.

Midwest Sonex Fly-In update!!! Prince Aircraft Company will once again be providing one lucky Sonex Owner/Builder that attend this year’s Midwest Sonex Fly-In a brand new Prince Elliptical Propeller! This is the 3rd propeller Lonnie Prince has given away at the Midwest Sonex Fly-In and we are so appreciative of Lonnie Prince for is continuing support! I have been flying my Sonex for 7 years now with a Prince Elliptical Propeller and could not be happier. Just a reminder that we are a little over two weeks out until the 2021 Midwest Sonex Fly-in. We are planning to have a Friday night Sonex gathering at Tim’s Pizza on the Fayetteville downtown square. Make plans to join us this year. We are looking forward to seeing all our Sonex friends! I will post more information a week out with the latest updates.

The Kansas City wing will be there in force! I'll plan to give a talk about fuel systems and engine cooling optimization. On short, we've learned over the years how to make our Jabiru and AeroVee engines run cool, and I'll cover the key points that lead to success.

And for anyone arriving Friday, dinner at Tim's Pizza is a great time to socialize, and last time the food was really good!

Just looked it up. 1,117.1 NM Great Circle for pizza and a chance of winning a propeller.....

As much as I'd like to.......1,343 NM Great Circle route with 13,000+ mountains along the way and I'm already flying with a Prince elliptical prop on my Sonex. Any closer, though, and I'd be there. Sure do miss the Rio Linda gatherings.

Considering making the 9 hour drive to attend. I live in north west il. Was wondering if any one was interested in doing a ride share to make the drive more tolerable. I can't fly as my onex only has 18 hours on it.
