EAA airventure UWO housing 2020

Hi all,
For anyone staying at the dorms at UWO for airventure 2020, they recently posted a covid-19 cancellation policy.
basically there is 2 options. You can transfer reservations to 2021. There is a 4 week limit to do so, IF eaa cancels
airventure . Or you can get a full refund, and a deposit refund if you have already canceled.

We have lost over 5 million dollars in revenue already at UWO because of this. If EAA cancels it will be devastating to us. We have already used up all of our reserves. Since I work there and because I love aviation I really hope we are able to have Airventure this year.

talked to a nice gal at uwo early this am . she was vey gracious, but you could tell in her voice the disappointment,
as herself and many coworkers will be furloughed. they arent taking any tranfers to 2021 or refunds over the phone for airventure housing. this has to be done via email. there is an easy online form to fill out. if your requesting to transfer to 2021, make sure you specify the exact new dates you need. be patient, the staffing levels are being reduced.

Lets all support Sonex during these times. Get an order in, even if its just a fresh hat.

Speaking of eaa airventure housing i have a suite which i rolled over to airventure 2021. it sleeps 4 . insuite kitchen dining table, living room with couch. insuite bathroom. 4 beds. either 4 seperate bedrooms or 2+2.
It is myself, and phil d., we have room for 2 more. july24-aug2 2021. nine nights. cost about $100 per nite per person.
