Joe & Justin, where are you camping? We are all the way South in Scholler. I don't mind driving to pick you up.

Where in vintage camping behind the Hangar Cafe, the Quonset hut one. There's a gate back there on the Perimeter Road South the theater in the woods. Not sure if you can get on that road or not. But anywhere in that part of camp scholler will be close.

I am trying to find where I can RSVP for the BBQ tonight and an address for Wayne's 7th Heaven. I did not see anything on the foundations website about the BBQ. I would love to attend this evening, however I am not having much luck finding any information on the detials foe the event!

A huge shout out and THANK YOU to Wayne & Cathy Daniels for hosting our BBQ last night in Oshkosh! We are so fortunate to be able to do this at Wayne’s!! Tom Jones reports we had 98 paid attendees, which is probably our largest crowd yet.

I’m now home - tired, sore, sunburnt, and missing Oshkosh already.

Just a heads up - the link to the BBQ was in this thread and while I can’t speak for others, I was not able to get online very often from Oshkosh to check the forum.

I’d like to echo the thanks that many have expressed for the excellent evening at the Sonex BBQ. It was great to be in the company of Sonex enthusiasts. The perspective of the evening air show from the other side of the runway was neat, with jets and powerful airplanes turning overhead. I appreciated meeting some of you and hearing your Sonex stories.

Thanks also to Jeff Schultz for the ride and conversation about the airplane we enjoy. I appreciated his son Isaac’s enthusiasm on his Sonex build.

I experienced fulfilling a dream to safely fly my Sonex into Airventure. It was great to park in the row of 10 Sonexes and meet the builders and flyers there.
