Why not just deviate to Watertown and launch from there on the off chance Mike and I can follow you guys? Over 100 Bonanzas are gonna take a few minutes to get in.

Let me run the numbers and see.
Watertown pushes us past our comfort zone on reserve fuel. We are cutting it close enough getting to Portage. We'll see you at OSH. :D

As of 1300 hrs local on Friday the forecast for OSH for Saturday looks exceptional all day. So for the moment I'm opting for Plan A: depart Watertown, WI at 4:00 Saturday, after the mass arrivals. There are restaurants within walking distance of the airport if you get in early and need to wait out the mass arrivals. I will arrive at the airport probably 3:00. Cell is 978-five nine zero-0732.

Weather is looking iffy. There is a front parked between myself and OSH at the moment. Weather is supposed to be fine on both sides but might be kinda sketchy in the middle.

Wx at OSH looking a little more tentative in the late afternoon Saturday, and even more tentative at Watertown in the late afternoon, so I think I need to go for the sure thing and get in before 10am. That's my plan unless something changes by morning.

Well I'm stuck in Watertown at the moment. Waiting for the ceilings to lift a bit.

Tried to get in and it was the worst I've ever seen it. 30 planes at Rush Lake and there were were so many over green lake they looked like mosquitos.
