Copperstate 2015 Fly In

Postby WaiexN143NM » Sat Oct 24, 2015 11:02 pm

Hi all ,
Just a quick note , we attended a fun fly in here in Casa grande az with our Waiex. Oct22-24.just a short 25 min hop north of Tucson Ryan field (our winter home). Many prospective builders, and current builders came by to ask questions. There is a main tent with vendors, many forum tents, and flight line kit manufactures tents. Also a food court. Mark your calendars for next year. Would be good to have a good showing of sonex models. We saw one other sonex , a tri-gear w jab 2200 belonging to Mr Pettyjohn. Also in March in casa grande is the cactus fly in.

Fly safe!!

It would be good to have a gathering of the Sonex aircraft in Arizona. I am located at Goodyear airport. I am not quite finished yet. Cactus and Cooperstate next year sounds good to me.

Sounds great john! Will look forward to meeting u at the cactus fly in in March. Hope u will have your plane finished. There was only 2 of us sonex types on the flight line at copperstate, but I sat by the plane most of the 3 days and had lots of visitors to meet, prospective builders, and current builders.
Was fun. Sunny and warm.

It was good and helpful to see your WaiveX. The workmanship gave me a good standard to go on and a couple ideas/examples that will work well.

When my Onex is complete I will bring it there.
