Central Illinois Fly In

Just a reminder folks. The fly in next Saturday, Sept. 12, at 3MY (Mt. Hawley) in Peoria, Il. is a true Midwest meeting. We are located half way between Chicago and St. Louis and half way between Des Moines and Indianapolis. Within that area there are about 65 builders and 25 flying. For you guys flying that's an hour and a half. For the ones that haven't reached that point it's a three hour drive.
Sonex will be here and a it will be a little easier to talk with them than at Oshkosh. We have a turbo Sonex flying, stationed on the field and a Onex tricycle with 75 hours also stationed on the field. Both of these builders will be presenting at the fly in. There are also two other builders, a Waiex and another Onex in EAA Chapter 563 hangared on the field.
3MY has 4000 feet of runway, full service FBO, a nice area to camp, and a motel and food within a city block. This is our first effort to put a Sonex, LSA, Experimental, Fly In together and hope it can grow into and annual affair.
