I won't quite be flying by then, but I will likely be working on my build in the hangar at KRKW, which is about 30 minutes by road (19 miles by air) east of KCSV. I'll be sure to stop by if I get a chance that Friday, though I leave town for work on 10/10.

We are one week away from the premier Sonex fly-in event! So, check your weather, check your aircraft, and check your cars. We are looking for another grand event.

After a week's worth of Rain on the east coast we sure have had our first taste of cabin fever and looking forward to good weather for the event. Right now it looks like we should have good weather http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Crossville+TN+USTN0122:1:US

For the agenda we have:
Mark Schaible - General Manager Sonex
David Weber (Dynon) - Demo Skyview panel and Dynon presentation.
Robert Frost talking about general tips when assembling your motor.
Demonstration - How to work with fiberglass - demo with be making wheel pants.
Afternoon Roundtable talk with Current Flyers about choices they made during their builds

Each presentation by itself would be great, but put them all together! AWESOME!

So, if you are on the fence, there is no better time than now to sign up. http://www.americansonexassociation.org/events/index.html

I'm certainly looking forward to it! I hope the weather holds for a good turnout, and I'm really hoping there's a Onex to look at. I'm about 95% sure I want to build one, but I'd like to at least see one in person first.

Cheers,
