ASA Crossville Gathering 10/9-10/10

Greetings Everyone,

Now that things have wound down a little bit after AirVenture 2015, it's time to start looking into the future at the upcoming gatherings. For us Sonex lovers, there are several to choose from but one of the biggest Sonex gatherings in the country is the ASA Sonex Gathering in Crossville, TN. Held on October 9th and 10th, the ASA gathering brings Sonex builders, pilots, and enthusiasts from across the country for a weekend filled with fun, friends, and airplanes! As of today, there are only 62 days until the start of the gathering so planning is currently underway.

One feature to the event are a series of presentations Saturday afternoon. Several presentations are already planned, but the current ASA organizers are looking for volunteers who may be interested in offering their own presentation for the audience. Subjects can be anything Sonex or aviation specific, so if you have any interest please contact me via message on these forums or personally via email.

Look forward to the gathering. Just an FYI, AOPA is having a fly-in in Tullahoma the same day. Might be fun to crash their party as a group for an hour or two. :twisted:

By then I'll have my project in my hangar at Rockwood, TN (KRKW) which is about 30 minute drive east of Crossville. Hopefully I'll be in Phase 1 by then and can fly over.
