Southern California Sonex Builders Fly In

I have finally come up with a date for the Southern California Sonex Builders fly in. It will be Saturday October 17th from 9am to 12 noon at Wm. J. Fox Airfield (KWJF) in Lancaster California. Park in front of the terminal. Details are coming soon. I hope to make this an annual event.

So far MGL is donating a GF-1 G-meter to give away as door prize. I am still working on more great stuff.

There is a BBQ fly in at Agua Dulce Airport L70 on Sunday July 26 from 1100 to 1400. I going to be there in my sonex. Come on down if you can.

I've been at William J Fox airport waiting for the wind to get better. Right now there's a little more Crosswind then I would like. Don't think I'm going to make it to Aquadulce. At least not in the airplane I'll try to swing by in my car

Here is an update on the October 17th fly in at KWJF. So far we have door prizes from MGL and Sensenich propellers. We are waiting for word from several others. I will post more as I get them. We will have two presentations. One from Jim Hicke on his trip to Yellowstone National Park and one from Dave Prizio on first flight safety. Dave has built several airplanes and is a contributing writer to Kitplanes Magazine and EAA Experimenter Magazine and a member of EAA homebuilt aircraft council.
