Hi all,
As for the airventure onex build i sent an email to eaa awaiting an answer about volunteering to the build. There will will three builds at the homebuilders hangar. An acro sport, a onex, and a cozy. Apparently they built the onex tail last year. Is supposed to be an ongoing yearly project. Anyone can volunteer.
I havent seen any sonex LLC online posting yet with their airventure schedule, but have been posting what ive seen from the eaa website. One more forum to add:
Aerovee/aeroinjector. Tue july 26 1:00-215pm forum stage 11
Mass arrivals. For arrival planning:
Cherokees sat july 23 approx 11am about 30 planes
Bonanzas. Sat july 23 approx 1 pm about 150 planes
Cessnas. Sat july23. approx. 230pm about 80 planes
Mooneys. Sun july24 approx 11am. About 30 planes
Hope this info helps . John , if i hear back from eaa about the onex build will post info. All i know is from eaa airventure website , mon-sat 8am-5pm at the homebuilders hangar eaa, the aeroplane factory. It is supposed to be a yearly ongoing project, not like a one week wonder build.
Regards,

Hi all,
L3 avionics posted their info on their website for the adsb giveaway at airventure. Also on www.avweb.com the AEA will be giving away adsb units at oshkosh16. Booth locations listed. Good luck!
Also , the EAA has been running buses to the terminal for years. Out of the main bus park and north 40 bus stop. Buses have 'terminal' on the signage up front. U can park for free in the terminal lot , always space avbl. If you are at the north 40 bus stop and havent seen a terminal bus, go to the basler fuel hut and ask for a ride in their van. They always have vans shutteling back and forth to the fbo located in the north terminal bldg. A few $$ always helps.
see u all there!!

Thanks for posting Michael. Very cool and best luck Ihab! Unfortunately work is delaying my arrival to Oshkosh until Wednesday so I will miss the Tuesday event.

Hi all,
For anyone interested in the onex build, the hangar is called the aeroplane factory, east of a hangar called the homebuilders hangar. ( old nasa hangar) looked inside nobody there yet but a onex tail kit was in the boxes. Work benches etc. 8am-5pm anyone can help. Saw a beautiful onex at homecoming w the 130 hp UL Power motor. Sonex LLC come out w some cowls/ engine mounts for different engines for the onex!!

Hi all,
Looks like the incident rwy 27 around noon was a gear up landing.
