Securing wires and hoses under the fuel tank

I have a lot of wires and hoses running from my panel to the firewall. I am routing most of it above the rudder pedals and under the fuel tank. How is everyone securing and organizing stuff in this area?

I am thinking of attaching to the tank straps, but I am hesitant. Are you attaching to the tank straps? If so, how?

I am also considering looking for some kind of attachment I can glue and/or tape to the underside of the tank to secure stuff to. Anyone have anything like this?

I routed that stuff at the sides attaching to the longer one with Adels.

Robert,
I bent up a hat section about 2-3" wide. I drilled a couple of holes in the flanges on either side of the tank straps and tie wrapped it up. I'll see if I can find pics, or take one tonight. Works great.

I knew I could count on something from you Bryan! Well done sir! I love this idea.

I can and will use the longerons, but it will not work for a few things. I will use this.

High density polyethylene, the fuel tank material, is a bear to dry and glue to, but 3M Very High Bond double stick tape grabs it pretty good. Consumer packaging: http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Extreme-Mo ... ast_sto_dp

If glue you must, try Cyanoacrylate: When used with Permabond POP primer (which is fantastically expensive), cyanoacrylate can provide good adhesion to HDPE.

I have found gorilla brand duct tape sticks pretty well to the tank. I use it to hold my LED backlights on the tank for my fuel camera.
