Hi everyone, I'm not big on texting but I do follow all subjects about Sonex. I have a Waiex with Jabiru 3300 and Liquid cooled heads. I'm looking for anybody that has the same set up. My question is where you placed the Radiator to get cooling air. Would love pictures if possible. Thanks Nick

There's a bloke on our airfield who has recently converted his Jab to liquid cooled heads. Supposedly he had lots of advice on how & where to mount/fit.
Anyhow he has the coolant radiator mounted over the engine, towards the rear. He modified his upper cowling with an air scoop. Looks great and he swears the engine is purring away with all temps under control:

Yep I've seen that one wish I had that much room on mine. If where I have it under the back behind the exhaust works I may need a NACA Duct to feed it and a outlet for airflow. I'll try and take some pictures. Thanks

The Cooper aircraft cooling system should work fine or something similar, probably check if the Rotax size radiator is large enough for the Jab first.
