Flight visibility has been poor for a number of months in Rochester, Minnesota (170nm west of Oshkosh). Please consider reviewing your inflight visibility personal minimums when flying to AirVenture. This week Oshkosh has been reporting marginal VFR to solid IFR with haze and smoke. We all hope that this will be long gone in three weeks. It may be worth a few moments to consider your plan B if this does impact AirVenture arrival rates. I hope to see a large number of Sonex's celebrating the 25th anniversary!!! Fly safe

It's been an unusual summer in the midwest. I feel like I'm back in Connecticut. Amazing to see less than 2 miles visibility in haze. That never happens here. I'm 101NM south of KOSH.
