Building FWD fuselage without turtledeck on

I finished the aft fuselage (including turtledeck), but did not rivet the turtledeck in place, because once I do it must be out of my basement.

I am wondering if there would be any unforeseen consequences of building the FWD fuse in the basement onto the aft tub without the turtledeck in place - I'm trying to get as much done in the basement as possible before moving.

Thanks!

Before I attempt an answer, A or B model?

If it's a B-model I did exactly that and it worked great. I also didn't rivet the forward and aft fuselages together until I got it out of the basement. It definitely worked! Hang on I'll find some pictures from my build log.

Here check these two posts out. I didn't rivet the turtledeck or formers to the aft fuselage, and I also didn't rivet the forward fuselage sides to the aft fuselage sides. Once I got it all out to the garage it went back together real quick. This all allowed me to get everything through a regular 32" door. It worked just fine and let me get a lot done indoors during the winter!

It's an A model...

Very helpful pics, I can't think of why it wouldn't work for the legacy model as well?

I built the Legacy model in the basement at home. The major sub assemblies were riveted( wing spars, forward fuselage sides etc.) but were all fitted together and clecoed. The parts were disassembled and taken to the garage and were fitted together and riveted. Worked perfectly.
