Hi all,
On the zenith site, they were showing a new tool, a milwaukee m12 cordless riveter.
3/32, 1/8, 5/32, and 3/16. check prices on line, amazon, or avbl at home depot.
the gun alone is $199, a kit and extra batteries charger etc. $399.
handy to have if not around electric service or a compressor.
ive seen small units advertized to use on a cordless drill. about $15.

I nearly bought that thing a couple weeks ago, but I decided I don't have enough rivets left to make it worth it at this point. If I was just starting I'd definitely pick one up! I've drilled every hole on my plane with their M12 drill and two batteries, that thing has worked great.

I have this and it is indeed a great time saver. I have yet to use it for Sonex related tasks but the few minor fabrications I have done for other (non-aircraft) projects it has been great. I am not sure how it will do on off angles or if it will work with the simple dimple dies. Though I imagine it will work just fine with the dimple die as it can be stopped during the pull and reset.

Hi all,
Just reposting this thread i started awhile ago. i love this riveter! it is so handy!
no noise, easy to use. its a little tall and heavy, but much easier to use than an air riveter.
no hose, no compresser running.
if anyone is interested i’ d suggest go to amazon check prices. i got the set with the bag and charger with extra battery.
milwaukee M-12.
