I am a newbie to this site. I am thinking about building a Sonex B model. I am wondering if there are any builders out there who have installed a UL Power engine in their aircraft, and if so, what has their experience been to-date? In the 100 HP category of engines, would the UL Power 260is be the lightest option? Thank you for your help.

UL Power seems to be a nice motor. It is a pretty new design and you will have to dig to find much user experience review.

In the same power class are the Jabiru 3300 and the Corvair 3.0 which can be explored at the Panther Aircraft web site. Start reading....there's a lot to learn.
