3D printing a flap handle

There are new wood based 3d printing fibers (a mixture of wood and plastic). So I decided to try 3D printing a flap handle as a test. I haven't stained it yet, but it seems to feel/look like wood so I'm pretty happy. I'll probably do something similar for my stick grips...

(Ignore the sanding artifacts on this test piece, it looked better before I tried sanding it. Also for the real part I'll print at higher resolution)

Very cool Kevin! I wish I had a 3D printer but my wife knows I'd only use it to make stuff for the Waiex, and probably a bunch of toy airplanes!

That's a great idea with flap, brake and stick handles. I can't wait to see it you have it done and ready!
