side panel fasteners for a polished finish

The hardware list calls for Washer Head AN525-10R12 screws to fasten the skin of fuselage at some points. However the suppliers only have these in cadmium plated. I want to have a polished finish and need an alternative screw that will stay shinny.

You guys who have polished finishes; do you have a suggestion as to the proper alternative screw ( part number please, I'm a real novice )?

Mine are cad plated. Not sure of a good alternative though the cad may polish off. Cad screws on a polished skin looks fine to me.

I had the AN525-10R12 installed on the engine mount tab locations while I did some fuselage side polishing and they came out looking looking just as shiny as the fuselage sides. Granted, I did a lot of polishing and changing the look of the screws was not my focus, I considered it a great bonus.

My standard cad plated hardware also tool on nice bright shinny finish in the course of normal polishing.

Use the called out hardware.

They will polish nicely.
