personal opinion/request:
Unless you like the cost and effort of getting 3rd Class medicals repeatedly - Consider support for the Pilots Bill of Rights II

What you can do if this is important to you:
Contact your state Senators and Encourage/Thank them for supporting the Pilots Bill of Rights II.
Now is the time.

Win Win for Private Pilots and the FAA.
