For those of you who have been plagued with finding the right oil cooler, I have a solution. PosiTech out of texas made better than PMS oil coolers for the experimental and general aviation market. I have one installed on my Jab 3300 and works great. Prices is a lot less than PMA coolers. They are even built of a heavier material than the "approved" coolers. They will custom make brackets, just about anything or configuration you want. When you call you even get a human. Cheers, Larry N853LE J250 Moses Lake, Washington USA

Goodday

I am busy installing a oil cooler for my Jab 3300 as well and experience a lot of problems on account of the size of the oil cooler and the fact that my Sonex is a tricycle gear configuration.

Could you please provide me with some more information regarding the setup of your Sonex and the size (serial number)of the oil cooler. Some photo's will help if available.
