Denali Alaska Sonex VIDEO!

Postby aaron_kni » Sat Aug 30, 2014 7:19 pm

OK guys - some of you are aware I made it back alive and in one piece from my July Alaska trip...

7000+ miles / 80 flying hours / 8 days
15 hrs & 77GB of HD video from
Pentax WG-2 handheld & Replay HD wingcams

ALL Distilled into one Big Epic Music Video of the Yukon & Alaska mountain ranges with the Hans Zimmer film score from Inception.

Crank up the volume, set to Fullscreen HD - and check it out!

You, know, Aaron, someday you aren't going to be able to one-up yourself! But for now, WELL DONE! I can't wait to hear about it at the fly-in next weekend! I think the schedule is going to need to devote a little more time to it. I can only imagine the number of questions you are going to get!! (By the way, I flew off my 40 hours today in a 6.7 hour marathon, so I'll have my bird there next weekend!)

Stunning all around! Thank you Aaron, for taking me on a trip I may not get to myself ... although I'd like too!

Wonderful Video (as always). What altitude were you at in the mountains and around Denali?

Well, you told me to do 10 hour days! I did 4 and 3 last weekend, and 2.5 and 6.7 this weekend. So that killed what was left.

I have you down from 11:30 to 12:15 at the fly-in to talk about your trip.
