Are there baffels in the tube? Any pictures or drawings?

I am very interested in information about the aluminum tube tanks in the wings, in the large lightening holes in the ribs. I am building a legacy Waiex and I like to fly cross country and would like permanent additional fuel capacity while still having some baggage space. Stan email n664v@hotmail.com

Hey Ed,

I am very interested in this option since I’ll be starting the wings in late summer. Any info you have or contact information you have for Bill please PM me or post here. Would love to have an extra 10 gallons and was upset they weren’t available since Jim Hicke has had great success with his! Love all the trips he does. Thanks again!

Guys,

I plan to talk to Bill Clapp at AirVenture this year about producing a few sets of tanks. Several builders have exchanged emails with me with their interest. If you think you're interested, let me know so I have a number of sets in mind for when I talk to Bill. Plus, he might have a better price for several sets at once rather than piecemeal.

I am definitely "in" on these fuel tanks. I will purchase a set if Bill makes some. Stan n664v@hotmail.com phone 916-995-3077 Waiex serial 190

I'd potentially be interested also. I love the tank I have fitted now but it can limit my options in regard to CofG. At this stage I'd be interested in fitting and plumbing data to asses the feasibility of it as freight to Oz will be a killer.
