Cost of flying?

Flying a Sonex is cheap. I know because their website says so. :lol:

It would be a whole lot cheaper if you didn't have to pay for a hangar, and an annual, and a transponder check, and property taxes, and insurance, and ......

Well...you don't "have" to have a hangar, or insurance (certainly not hull ins). You can fly on the cheap if you are willing to accept the risks. Most of us don't want badness to befall "our babies" so we pay more than we absolutely have to.
