Flush rivets for tail ribs at the root end

Postby Bryan Cotton » Fri Oct 11, 2013 9:03 pm

Hi all,
I dimpled my aft spar channels, but when I went to dimple the mating holes in the aft part of the ribs they were too close to the radius. Looks like I will have to grind one of my dimple dies.

I also had to grind down one of my dimple dies. However, if you don't want to do grind down yours and you have a countersink, you can easily make a custom version of the female side using some scrap 3/16" aluminum.
