That was a payoff day for me after a few years of not being comfortable doing so. One of my passengers was a young lady our chapter kind of adopted - went from doing bad in school to an honors student.

This past Saturday I flew my first Young Eagle in my Sonex. (I flew bunches in my Cherokee years ago).

Nice Vid Robbie.

I'm still planning on driving down from Michigan next weekend for the fly-in unless the weather is trash. Still hope to catch a ride with you in your Sonex. Just picked up a cherry picker today to hang the engine on mine. Sure would like to feel what its like in the air. My Kolb Firefly is light on the stick and I understand the Sonex is as well. Hope to hook with you soon!
