It appears the SubSonex electric landing gear system has been upgraded to pneumatic system. There is a post on the website along with some videos with some more detail.
No mention of any accident/incident causing this design change, only the desire to improve reliability and reduce possible failure modes.

Anybody heard anything more about the nose gear collapse rumour?
