Grand Day Out 2

Made it onto the ice at B18-Alton Bay today. Just after the overnight thaw freeze had created a no braking action Zamboni smooth surface. Not helped by a swirling wind that had me landing in a head/left cross/tail wind.... 4 hours flying and a lot of low level turbulence. I'm waffled!!

On final for 01 in a head / left cross / tailwind. Zamboni smooth and slick today

Noone laughing at my hat today.....

I have 9 of these. This year/today's was the hardest to earn. Conditions were so slick.
