Northwest USA to Oshkosh

In order to complete the goal of visiting the lower 48 states, I needed to make a trip to Louisiana, the Northwest and the Dakotas. Here are the stats and pics...

On the last day, the wind caught my canopy during taxi, effectivley destroying it and thus being the only real setback of the trip except for some minor weather delays.

Thanks for posting Kip! Glad to finally meet you OSH and sorry to hear about your canopy incident. Rob Barber had a similar thing happen on his Alaska trip, but the wind ripped the canopy completely off the fuselage.

By the way, don't ever, ever let your canopy suffer the same fate as mine.

I'm looking at over $700.00 plus the time required to build a new one...! :o

What an awesome adventure. The pics are great, I assume you used a real camera and not a phone but they are awesome!

If you posted this on the mailing list I must have missed it, or do you spend more time here?

Eric, I used a non-SLR 12.0 megapixel 50X Zoom Nikon. I like it.

If you are referring to Yahoo. I have forgotten my password over there and I'm in no real hurry to retreive it... ;)
