I went to the Jabiru Engine seminar in Bakersfield and I took a time-lapse of our engine rebuild. I wish I would have gone to this seminar a long time ago. Great advice and very specific knowledge of the engine by Pete. If you own a Jabiru you owe it to yourself to get to the next seminar.

I enjoyed your video. I hope to attend a Jabiru seminar also. The reports are always positive.

From the video, your Waiex looks to be well built!

How did you mount your video camera on your tail? I have a GoPro, but have yet to use it on my Sonex. I'm not sure how to mount it securely. I saw the mount made by GoPro at Oshkosh last summer, but it needs a hard point for mounting. It might be a good idea to add a few points for a camera while building.

I just used the 3M tape that came with the shoe. I wanted to remove it and rotate it 90 degrees after a year on the tail, but no joy. Its stuck there for good.

Here is a video of my last flight of 2014. A tour of the San Diego coast and an aileron roll in the middle of the video.

Happy New Year Jim! GREAT video. The weather yesterday was awesome I think could see my house in the far off distance . Wish I could have gone flying but I am too obsessed getting my bird finished to get in the air. Your video made me feel like I was there!
