Hi Mike,

I'm in Greencastle, PA but have my 172 based at HGR. So not too far away from you. Been to Front Royal a good many times. Currently working on an A model, mostly scratchbuilt.
Tail is 95% completed and just started fabricating aft fuse formers. Went the scratchbuilt route cause I can't afford to buy a kit with a duaghter in college!

I am building a OneX in my garage in Fairfax. Use the EAA technical counselors expertise from my chapter, 186 in Manassas.

Good for you. I built my Onex 107 in "my" half of a two car garage. My wife's car never moved. A real plus. I built the tail feathers first, in case I made mistakes, the fuselage and engine second, and the wings last, to avoid a storage problem. I moved the completed fuselage to the airport and then built the wings. For a work bench I went to a local second hand furniture store and bought two office desks for $35 each. Adjustable legs, drawers for tool storage, and I could place my drill press in between them to drill the main spars. When I was done I donated the desks back to the stores. Loved the build. A few small problems with shipping damage and a few questions answered by Kerry. I'm at 330 Hobbs hours and enjoying every minute of it.

Hello Steve, Just getting back to your reply, life's issues... Did you receive your kit, or should I say how much farther do you have to go to finish?
I'm in Florida now but will try to look you up when back home in Front Royal in May. Do you have your build documented in the forum and how do I see it?
