Hi,
I'm Charlie. Been helping a friend build Waiex #21 for a few years now. We moved the fuselage to the airport on Sunday (Jun 19). We hope to be flying soon.
It is a Jabiru 3300 powered tail dragger. We are running the VP-50 power system (great! easy to build and setup), Dynon D-180 with HS34 HSI adapter, Aera 510 (soon), SL30 Nav/com, Modified ARC marker beacon reciever (we can shoot ILSs!), and a GTX327 transponder. The aircraft is fitted with Electric Pitch trim. I had never seen one on a Waiex and built it using the trim outputs out of the VP-50 and a set of relays (to carry a little heavier current). Details are in some of my videos on my youtube link below.
