Kip in Atlanta (YX0082)

Many of you have met me by now, I hope. I promised that when I finished my Waiex that I would get around. In one year year and one week since the first flight I had flown to 22 states and over 22000 miles, coast to coast, Oshkosh, Sun n Fun, Crossville, and any other small fly-in that I can make it to. They are my favorite.
YX0082 was delivered in Feb, 2007 and 1880 hours later I flew it on May 20, 2010. I live in Atlanta but keep the plane 50 miles away because of the congested areas and high hangar rent. That's life in the big city, I suppose.
I built the Waiex at work, Epps Aviation at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport. I fly Part 135 charter and some 91 ops when not flying the Waiex. I have plans for a Pitts S-1C and I hope to begin the wings this fall. I also like to fly RC airplanes and helicopters in my spare time.
I love to provide advice and especially inspiration to other builders so feel free to contact me via private messsage on sonexbuilders.net.
