Forming Aluminum Fairings

Thanks Robbie! Having scratch built most of a Hummelbird, I am confident I can get the curve in the fairing, without annealing or anything crazy. A basketball post or lolly column is also a good tool for the larger radius. This is more of a Waiex question - trying to figure out how to get the front edge underneath but the flanges on top, being able to insert it, with no gaps at the corners and a tight fit. Because of the wider size of the Waiex fairing I think it is trickier than the Sonex.

If like on a standard tail Sonex, the fairing serves no structural purpose, form it out of 0.016" aluminum. Very easy to get exact;y right.
