Its the rear wing attach angles in the fuselage, the rear spar box and a few other associated gussets that are removed in the following photo

Jeff means the wing attach angles on the sides of the fuselage on either side of the spar tunnel. It's detailed in the wing drilling and mounting page of plans as well:

As mentioned by the others, I am referring to the large vertical angles attached to the forward fuselage sides. The plans detail the rear angle is to be left un-riveted (to allow for wing rigging), but they show the forward angle riveted in place very early in the construction of the forward fuselage. My comment is to also *not* rivet the forward angle. This simply gives you better access during wing rigging, and there's no real downside other than not being able to rivet the lower gusset until later (minor issue, for sure).

It's not a show-stopper, but might make the process a little earlier.
