Updated my blog today detailing the repair work I accomplished to replace some parts in my kit that were discovered (by Sonex) to have been made from an incorrect alloy of aluminum.

I've been slacking on blog updates for my project lately, but got it caught up this week. I didn't work on the plane much during the last half of April, but will be hitting it hard this weekend. I recently joined the local EAA chapter, and the next meeting will be Monday at my house, so I'll get to share the project with a bunch of local folks.

Here are links to 4 new blog posts, summarizing my work on the forward fuselage from mid-March through mid-April.

Ryan,

Your fuselage progress is looking nice! Your going to need to make a decision on engine and avionics soon...or else you will run out of things to do!

Don't I know it! Seat, landing gear/engine mount, canopy and wing/control rigging... going to need more $$$ soon!
