So those "less than optimal building" findings shown in the pictures on the first page had nothing to do with the in flight breakup?


In this case, I don't believe it was considered a contributing factor.

Probably because the angle failed in tension at the radius due to static overload. I wonder if the result would have been different had the aluminum washer holes been carrying their share of the load.
