Excellent!

I am not far behind you. Rented a hangar yesterday at KARR and planning to move it ASAP

Cool time lapse Ryan! Congrats to both of you for landing in the hangar. Robbie, C77 is only 37NM from KARR.

If its of any help, I have all three bottom hinge pins finishing at the same point so I just have a loop in all of them and will just use a small cable tie.

Excellent Ryan! Your experience mirrors my own.

Looking forward to hearing about an inspection and first flight!

Lots of big events in the past week!

#1: I got married!
#2: First startup of my Turbo Aerovee!
#3: First taxi test!

We had a bunch of folks who were in town for our wedding out to the airport on Sunday for a Hangar Party. The main event was firing up the engine and performing a taxi/brake test. It was awesome to be able to hit this milestone in front of a crowd like that, won't soon forget it!

Here's a video of the 2 tests:

First observations: secondary ignition timing is way off, engine wouldn't run without primary. Primary mags aren't grounding correctly for some reason, I cannot turn off the magnetrons. I used a 2.5 needle in the default position in the aeroinjector and the engine is running way rich, had to pull the mixture halfway out to get it to run. Good times!

Big crowd at the first taxi! Was that just before or just after the wedding?
