No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame

I've seen this error message often when doing searches: "No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame."
It happens when I do "View your posts" and I've seen it happen for other searches as well. I can see the topic header and date, but it won't pull up the post.
Is there a date range somewhere that I need to set? Are others having this issue?

I just did a search for Airventure and it turned up a bunch of Airventure Planning 2014 posts. I get the error message when I click on any of the posts. Can others read the Airventure 2014 posts?

I figured it out.
User Control Panel -> board preferences -> edit display options
I had set it to a 1month window thinking this would affect the 'show recent messages' display.
When I changed it back to the default, the error message went away.
Intake gasket - yes or no?

My AeroVee manual does not mention an intake gasket. I have penciled in "Use steel gasket" at some time or another. I remember some discussion about this in the past but don't remember the specifics. What is the current thought on whether or not to use a gasket?
