Greetings Everyone, I'm pleased to report that I had my first flight in my Waiex, kit #0056, N569KM this evening on April 2nd. The aircraft is based at Union County airport (KMRT) in central Ohio. The first flight lasted around 20 minutes and everything worked perfectly other than lower than desired...

I didn't make it this year either but I sure am hoping to get to Oshkosh this summer. I'm glad Sun'n'Fun seemed like a good one this year.

I've always wondered if one possible reason why there's no carb ice issues is that we draw air from inside the cowling where the air is warmer rather than having some kind of ram air scoop to draw in cold air. I also didn't install a carb heat setup but I've been doing some final engine tweaking and...

You have no idea how right you are Kip :D I had to remove my engine today but think I know where its leaking from, so hopefully I can have back together this weekend sometime.
