I'm fairly certain mine was the same way. That way, both hinges were parallel when you insert the hinge pins to lock the seat in place. Just mark and remove the unused part of the hinge and you're good to go!!

Those look great Kip. It looks like you've made a great start on the next project. Are all the ribs the same on both wings? I've heard both wings are built on a large flat table...sounds like fun! How about the spars...pre built or are you doing them too?

If you updrill now you may save 20 minutes when you fit the wings, but you also run the risk of elongating holes (which would ...
