I have a vauge memory of using bent mandrels and wedges to pull them. I don't remember if I used a hand or pneumatic riveter.

There is usually more than one way to skin the proverbial cat. Do a dry run with clecoes or a couple of aluminum pops and see if there are issues. I did not have any problems with those flush rivets.

Our buddies are ditching due to winds. I think we are going to shoot for an 0630 departure and fly to Benton, IL H96. They have a lounge, crew car, plus walmart/McDonalds in walking distance. The crosswinds in the afternoon may be too hairy for Poplar Grove, as the grass runways are soaked and close...

Another couple hours of XC and 3 stamps. Was supposed to start out as a fly-in pancake breakfast but our organizer had his facts wrong. Good shakedown trip for the eclipse fly out.
