There are 3/32" dimple dies. Don't use the 1/8" ones of any flavor. As far as I can tell, the 3/32" pops are the same shape as the solids, unlike the 1/8" ones. I am a big fan of solid rivets for nutplates.

The Hummelbird plans suggest going to a print shop as their process uses thinner flexible aluminum, I believe less than .010. I wonder if they have those or not anymore.

Switches: spade vs screw terminals

All,
The switches I got from Spruce are all spade terminals. I have used that style for auto and hobby use. At Sikorsky and Schweizer we always had screw terminals on our aircraft. What are you using? Anybody have trouble free time with spade switches?

Peter, My Hummelbird plans call for similar gap seals but made of thin aluminum. When I got to that point I was going to execute in plastic. Many gliders I've flown have them. The issue I can see when doing this on a Sonex is the rivets to the aft spar. It would be better if you had solid flush rive...

How many of ur regularly practice slow flight, stalls, and spins? When I used to tow and fly gliders, it was a ton of slow flight. I did often practice stalls in everything I flew. I am overdue on spin practice. I don't subscribe to the modern theory of stall awareness. Go out and do them.
