Re: Tailbeacon on a Waiex

The perils of working behind the panel on a Sonex. Nearly impossible to add a wire. I haven't succeeded yet but still trying.

That was supposed to be humor. I'm probably better at building airplanes. I did send Mike a list of airport restaurants and attractions that I'm aware of. Plus the location of the builders I'm aware of.

And another 10,000 on the bottom to drain. Bob I recommend following the plans.

Re: Tailbeacon on a Waiex

Adam has made a couple of lock rings out of HDPE on the CNC router. It took him a couple of tries to get the tool path right. He also made a 3D printed tool for drilling the holes for the 2 screws that prevent the beacon from unlocking itself in flight. lock ring drill jig.png That also took a coupl...

ACV-M01-17 Intake Manifold Spacer Plate

Hey all, Can anyone tell me the thickness of the manifold spacer plate? I want to make a couple matched to my Great Plains manifolds. When I last had the manifolds off, I observed that the Aeroconversions and GPAS manifold inlets had about the same height when sitting on the table. I'm hoping to try...
