I have the pattern. Weighs almost nothing. Weight is the enemy. The downside? No good for hauling bags of cement.

If you sit too long with the secondary ignition, radios, lights, etc all on you will quickly deplete the battery capacity down. Of all those loads, the ignition is the biggest. For what it is worth, I've only had real temperature issues once. Heat of the summer, and two-up pattern work. Otherwise I don't worry about ground ops at all.
