ADS-B, where is your head?

As the deadline approaches, how is everyone approaching it? Go with certified solution? Go with experimental solution, (integrated xPonder)? Go with a solution that will leverage your Mode C xPonder? Avoid Mode C veil airspace and above 10,000 MSL? Some of us early adopters have gotten burned (NavWo...

What's the stupidest thing you did during the build?

Subject says it all.

Excited to meet everyone in person as opposed to on the forum. There will be plenty of booze and burgers in the camper if ...

Re: Azusa 5in wheels

Hi all, Has anyone replaced the cup races on the 5 in Tri -star wheels ? Is there a special tool or procedure to get them out? The races are sold separate. $ 1.85. I called Azusa but got a millennial hire, didn’t know and didn’t care. WaiexN143NM Michael The tool will be far more expensive than a n...

Re: Sport ailerons

I have only had a very brief turn on the controls of a Sonex with the larger ailerons but my main impression was that they felt very heavy. With the standard ailerons the control balance feels pretty good at low speed, but at higher speeds the ailerons become fairly heavy whereas the elevator seems...
